Carla is in a state when she despairs about Nick selling his share of Underworld in order to invest in the new bar under the viaduct, and she hits the bottle hard. When Peter sees Carla attempting to get into her car and drive, although clearly drunk he has to stop her and gets in the car. Carla denies she has a problem, but when she later hits the bottle again, she calls Peter and he heads over to see her - as he's been down this road before. When Nick offers Leanne the position of bar manager she flatly refuses, but later Peter tells her that just because he can't run a bar doesn't mean she can't, and she takes Nick up on the offer, but they soon slip into their flirtatious patter. Meanwhile when Kevin is taken ill, Molly is forced to go to the theatre with Sally, and the pair surprisingly have a great time, but what will happen when Sally finds out about Molly and Kevin's affair. Ryan tells Ciaran that he doesn't want to leave Weatherfield to study because his mother needs him, but when he is on the brink of turning down a place at Glasgow will Ciaran step in and tell Michelle the reason why Ryan doesn't want to leave her and will Ciaran and Michelle ever confess their true feelings for each other? And Chesney is on the brink of loosing his virginity, but will the kids manage to be uninterrupted?
