Deadline Day Done DealsWell Wigan fans, I promised you Fernando Torres and, luckily for you, he didn’t get up north in time to sign. Bet you are crying that you didn’t get that top class striker now. Transfer deadline day was as frantic as ever, with helicopters flying in late, sky sports news at every point in the world, and a lot of ‘I don’t know anything’ statements from players about to sign for their clubs. Although the Manchester clubs didn’t spend too much, they were still as involved as everyone else as QPR stole the show with the signings of Bobby Zamora and Djibril Cisse proving their strike force should be reckoned with this season. Everton completed the signings of Nikica Jelavic aswell as Steven Pienaar’s return to the club and Fulham stole Pavel Pogrebnyak from Stuttgart. Here are the full list of the Premier League’s deadline day deals:
