World of Weirdcraft

An Irishwierd of warcraft man has revealed how he developed a four-year relationship with Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik through online gaming.

Breivik was responsible for the attacks in Norway on July 22 that left 77 people dead, after he detonated a bomb in central Oslo, before going on a shooting spree in a youth camp on the nearby island of Utoya.

The man who used the name "Frank" told the Ray D'Arcy Show on Today FM radio last week that he first met Breivik while playing the online game ‘World of Warcraft'.

Frank told the show how the murderer had joined his on-line team and as a result he "got to know him over time," and they often discussed what was going on in daily life.

"Frank" said Breivik "used to ask me things about the politics in Ireland . . . he used to ask about the Government and about the IRA".

Asked for his own reaction to last weeks massacre in Oslo he said: "It's a completely surreal experience because I knew the guy for about four years and just to see his picture up on the TV cameras saying that he's after murdering everybody, it's just a complete shock."

Frank, whose top friends on facebook include Fred West, Ted Bundy and Myra Hindley said he first heard the news from a Russian online gamer who told him to get to a TV "because Anders was on the telly".

"I didn't know what to say or what to think, it was very, very strange. He just seemed like a normal, nice guy."

Of course he did Frank.
