Getting to Melbourne Metro YHA
Bus: 1.4 km from the station to the hostel. From Southern Cross (Spencer Street) Station go 400 meters East along Bourke Street to William Street and catch tram 55 heading North, get off at stop 9, walk 200 meters West on Queensberry Street, turn right into Howard Street

Train: 1.4 km from the station to the hostel. From Southern Cross (Spencer Street) Station go 400 meters East along Bourke Street to William Street and catch tram 55 heading North, get off at stop 11, walk 200 meters West on Queensberry Street, turn right into Howard Street.

FREE transfer to hostel during day-time for all backpackers (check with driver). Tickets available from airport kiosk.

Avalon Airport - 61km
Bus service between Avalon and Franklin Street Terminal for only $19 for adults and $9.50 for children (4-14yrs). Then follow bus instructions.

Limited secure parking available for $5 per day. Bookings are essential - contact the hostel directly, or book on arrival. 2.1 meter vehicle height limit.

Tram from the City:
From Elizabeth Street, city catch Tram no 57, to stop 9 (Cnr Howard & Victoria Sts) turn right and walk up Howard St, cross over Queensberry St and the hostel entrance is 50 metres on your right.
