Sydney band The Art nab Thirty Seconds To Mars support slot

The ArtTHE ART have pulled off a coup: it has been announced that the Sydney
band will support Thirty Seconds To Mars’ Australian and New Zealand tour
this winter.
Formed in Newtown, The Art left our shores for the United States. The band
played SXSW and completed two US tours, before recording their first album
in Texas.

Returning to Australia in late 2009 The Art supported Marilyn Manson and
Them Crooked Vultures. They were on the bill for the 2010 Big Day Out
and also supported one of their biggest influences, The Pixies, on their most
recent tour.

Fans can hardly wait to have Thirty Seconds to Mars’ back again. The
upcoming shows will give avid fans a chance to rock out to their current single
Closer To The Edge and, in turn, open doors for new listeners to experience
the astronomical performance that is Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Coupled with Tomo’s sweltering six-string and the imaginative percussion of
his brother Shannon Leto, Jared Leto’s oozing charisma and wild vocal ability
will make for more than a memorable evening.
