The atmosphere when I walked in to Scruffy Murphey's was exactly what I expected from an Irish pub, Guiness, cheap drinks and people up for laugh. If you're looking for a craic, and something off-the-wall, Thursday offers Tranny Karaoke which is a must do whether you live in Sydney or are just here on your travels. One of the best aspect of the pub, is that it not only offers a great entertainment and cheap drinks but if you would rather spend your beer money on accommodation you can move in as it doesn't ever close.
