You may not be allowed to wear just a loin cloth, but you can defiantly let out your thunderous Tarzan cry as you surf down Cape Tribulation. That's right ladies and gentlemen, I am not talking about surfing the waves, I'm talking some serious tree surfing.

The one of a kind experience of Jungle Surfing is a thrilling way to see the world-renowned Daintree Rainforest. The trip lasts two hours, with over an hour spent up in the rainforest canopy! As you are seated contently in a full body harness, you will surf through the rainforest on flying fox ziplines, stopping at five eco-friendly tree platforms to take in spectacular views from the treetops. Then,
it's down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef. The tour's a mixture of exhilaration and education, with the guides giving insight into life in Australia's largest sustainable energy community. Plus, this is the only flying fox in the world where you can fly hands-free, and carefree, without any previous experience!

And, if you are feeling a bit nocturnal, you can check out the Jungle Adventures Nightwalks and experience the jungle with the lights out. As the sun sets, animals stir and the forest comes to life. The affordable tour is approximately two hours, and, to make things easier, courtesy transfers are offered from all accommodation in Cape Tribulation.
